Terms of service
These are the terms you agree to when you use 2do.work. They are written to be read: plain sentences, no surprises. If anything here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it.
Your account
- You log in with your email address and a code we send to it. Keep access to that mailbox: whoever can read it can log in as you.
- One account is for one person. You may share lists with other people, each with their own account.
- You must be 13 or older. If you use 2do for an employer or a client, you confirm you may accept these terms on their behalf.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what the agents you connect do with it.
What it costs
2do is free while it is young. If we ever charge for it, we will say so in the app and by email before anything is billed, and you will be able to export your data and leave without paying.
Your content stays yours
- Your spaces, lists, to-dos, comments, fields and files belong to you. We claim no ownership of them.
- You give us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, to show it to the people and agents you share it with, and to back it up. Nothing more.
- We do not sell your content, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train AI models. The privacy policy says exactly what we hold and for how long.
- You are responsible for having the right to put into 2do what you put into it.
Agents acting for you
2do is built to be used by AI agents — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others — on your behalf. When you connect one:
- You are authorising it to read and change the lists you give it access to, the same way a colleague you shared with could.
- Work it does is recorded on the item, credited to that agent and the computer it ran on, so you can see what happened and undo it.
- You can disconnect any agent at any time, from Share, then Claude & Codex. It loses access immediately.
- Your agreement with the AI provider is between you and them. We are not responsible for what their models produce, and they never receive your conversation from us — only what their agent writes through a 2do tool.
Fair use
Do not use 2do to break the law, to store or distribute material you have no right to, to harass anyone, or to try to reach accounts and data that are not yours. Do not attack the service, scrape it, or drive automated load that threatens it for everyone else. Agents are welcome; agents hammering the service are not.
If you find a security problem, tell us at info@2do.work with "Security" in the subject, and give us a reasonable chance to fix it before telling anyone else. We answer security reports first.
What we promise, and what we don't
- We run 2do with care, keep off-site encrypted backups, and fix things when they break.
- We do not promise it will never be down or never lose anything. It is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose — you can export your data at any time from You in the app.
- To the extent the law allows, Makina is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, or for work an agent did or failed to do. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, while 2do is free, is nothing.
- Nothing here takes away rights your local consumer law gives you.
Changes to the service
2do is under active development: features will appear, change and sometimes disappear. If a change removes something you depend on, or we decide to shut the service down, we will give you notice in the app and by email, and time to export your data.
Ending it
- You can stop at any time and delete your account from You in the app. The privacy policy says what is erased and when.
- We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that puts the service or other people at risk. Unless the law prevents it, we will tell you why and, where it is reasonable, give you a chance to put it right first.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we update the date at the top, and tell you in the app or by email when a change matters. Continuing to use 2do after that means you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the province of Québec and the laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Montréal have jurisdiction — without taking away any right you have to bring a claim where you live.
